Pain Management Pathways
"If only I had attended this programme shortly after injury - it would have saved me years of pain and related anxiety. Thank you SWV for setting it up for me, it is going to have a hugely positive impact on my quality of life."
Taking control of your pain
The main barriers to employment and being able to live a full life are chronic pain and problems with pain medication. We hear from many veterans whose long-term and chronic pain has stopped them from reaching their full potential after leaving service.
To help we set up the first veteran-specific pain management programme with an introductory pain review.
Our pain management programmes are designed to help you access a diagnosis, develop a better understanding and management of your pain, to improve self-management and quality of life and confidence.
The first step to taking back control of your pain is to book a free consultation at one of our Pain Reviews.
Pain Review
For veterans needing confidential, one-to-one advice on:
- Pain management issues
- Medication review
- Advice on over-reliance on pain medication
